Anna Maria Island
Anna Maria Island is a seven mile stretch of barrier island off
Manatee County and is situated between Sarasota Bay and the pristine
waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The island of Anna Maria encompasses the
cities of Anna Maria, Bradenton Beach, and Holmes beach.
Anna Maria Island has the charm of being an Old Florida Style
village. You will not find any high rise buildings on this island. A
current development effort on the island is restoring a village center
to its original historic charm.
